Michael brings the experience of a lifetime in boatbuilding and yachts to everything he does.  Beginning from his first skiff building project at age 8, to summers in boatyards during high school and working as a professional seaman along the west coast of his native Canada in his late teens, Michael has always been in boats. After moving to the UK in 1986 to pursue formal training and broader experience Michael spent 17 years in the Dutch yacht market working in yards and running his own refit business.  In 2003 Michael moved to Antigua to work for and eventually run Antigua’s busiest refit business before starting Ultra Refit in 2015.
